Ahhhh! It’s finally starting to feel a little more like Autumn here in Texas! I am all about this time of year and happily breakout the fall decor at the end of August. It may be 100 degrees at that point, but I’m going to help usher in some cooler weather by hurrying summer along, if possible.
Actually, every year I throw a “Welcome Autumn” party, and it’s become quite the tradition among my friends and family here. The timing varies, and this past Saturday was my latest seasonal shindig yet!
I’ll be sharing all about the festivities when it comes to my turn in the Holiday Blog Hop that all Mountain Brook Ink authors are currently participating in. From funny holiday stories, to recipes and traditions, it’s a peek behind the scenes of our writerly lives.
We LOVE our readers and wanted to make this a special way of honoring YOU, by offering a giveaway which includes a Kindle Fire and Amazon gift cards, as well as books and other things given individually by each author. The more you follow along and comment, the more chances you have of winning!
And out of curiosity, I’d love to know your feeling about eReaders like the Kindle. Are you fan? An ardent holdout for hardback or paperbacks? Or have you decided if you can’t beat them, join them? I’m kind of in the latter category…they’re not as wonderful as an individual book but they’re so convenient and the books are affordable.
Below is a link to the entire blog schedule. You’re not too late to participate on past posts, and keep in mind that future posts won’t be operable until the day of! Today’s visit is with the hilarious author-duo Deborah Dulworth and Linda Hanna. Enjoy their guilty confession and remember to enter the Rafflecopter giveaway!

I still prefer real books. I use the Kindle app on my laptop and iPad if I can’t get paper but not my preference.
I agree, Edward! It’s always nice to hold the real thing but not always convenient (especially when you travel and want to bring several books!).
I love the snail with the trees!
Thank you 🙂 It’s a fun little scene on our piano. I love it!
Thanks for the heads up! I’m catching up now.
Btw, the link for Susan Page Davis needs to be updated! (http://mountainbrookink.com/2018/11/01/blog-tour-davis/)
Hmmm. I’m not sure if it’s been fixed since you left that comment but it seems to be working now. We’ve had quite a few issues with the links, inevitable I suppose when trying to coordinate something like this! Thanks for stopping by xoxo
