What do you get when you combine a May wedding with house projects to prepare for wedding guests? You get a writer with little time to write, that’s what 🙁 I’m sorry that I didn’t have last week’s True Fiction Friday post ready, but I know you can probably relate to “so many commitments, too little time”.
Will Delilah betray her man? I guess we will have to wait for another TFF feature to know for sure! Or, of course, you can check out the Bible story for spoilers 😉 (Judges 16) And, if you missed part one, you can read it here.
May is invariably my busiest month of the year! Somehow it outdoes December with all of its holiday festivities. My very social daughter Delaney–who is about to get married–actually made an interesting observation one May when she was about nine years old. She ran to me, eyes incredulous, body jittering. “Mommy, mommy! Guess what? There are thirty-one days in May and we have thirty things on the calendar!”
She loved a busy schedule and thought it exciting to have so much going on (unlike her tired parents). I suppose it is only fitting that she says ‘I do’ in this busy month 😀
What are YOU up to this spring? Is May a crazy month for you? Happy Mother’s Day to all of you moms out there! I got to have my two granddaughters stay all weekend so their mom (my oldest daughter) could get away with her hubby for the first time in a year and a half. We had so much fun–but I’m exhausted!
Hang in there! And congrats to your daughter. 🙂
Thank you!
